What You'll Do:
- Screen, evaluate, and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
- Conduct assessments using standardized and evidence-based methods
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
- Document treatment outcomes and generate discharge summaries
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, patients, families, and caregivers
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and conferences
- Supervise CFY or student SLPs as needed
- Ensure compliance with ASHA and state practice acts, ethics, and regulations
What You Need:
- Active ASHA certification and State Licensure in Texas
- At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and responsibly in a long-term care environment
