HireCall is Now Hiring – Class A Fitter / Vessel Welder
Location: Sapulpa Area

Required Tests

• Welding Test: 6" Sch 80 6G GTAW stringer/hot pass with SMAW fill and cap

• 3G FCAW: 1/2" plate test

• Fitter Test

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Overtime: Friday & Saturday as needed, 6:00 AM – 2:15 PM
Pay: $34 – $36 per hour (DOE)

HireCall is currently seeking an experienced Class A Fitter / Vessel Welder for one of our valued manufacturing clients in the Sapulpa area. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals looking for long-term work with competitive pay and consistent overtime opportunities.

Products

Waste heat recovery equipment built to ASME Code, including:

• Waste heat and process gas boilers (firetube and watertube)

• Steam drums

• Economizers (Experience welding economizer is a plus)

• Superheaters

• Pressure vessels

Job Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and understand blueprints and welding procedure specifications

• Perform basic and advanced math calculations

• Layout, cut, fit, and tack pressure and non-pressure components including:

  • Cylinders, nozzles, tubes, tubesheets, headers, and structural components

• Utilize leveling equipment to ensure proper orientation and accuracy

• Weld using FCAW, SMAW, and GTAW processes in all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead)

• Ensure all work meets ASME Code, company, and client quality standards

• Perform carbon arc gouging and oxy-fuel cutting as needed

• Assist with other shop duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of fitter/welder experience in a manufacturing environment

• 3+ years of vessel welding experience required

• Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, chrome, and nickel alloys

• Ability to pass X-ray and other non-destructive testing requirements

• Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) experience is a plus but not required

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
