Safety Manager

Job Overview The Safety Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment by implementing and overseeing safety programs and procedures. Duties Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences Provide safety training and development programs for employees Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory bodies Maintain records of all safety-related activities including report writing Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and implement solutions Qualifications OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 Proven experience in EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) management Certification in First Aid/CPR preferred Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques Strong understanding of OSHA regulations Excellent communication skills for training development and collaboration with teams Job Details Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour Per Diem Available Experience in EHS Preferred Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week Ability to Commute: Washburn, IL 61570 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Washburn, IL 61570: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
