Work location Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery, 6020 W Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093 Work Hours PRN-As Needed/Days (7A –7:30P) Monday - Friday PACU Department Highlights Working with a multi-disciplinary team The opportunity to work with a diverse patient population The opportunity to work with cutting-edge medical technology and equipment The potential for high job satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment from making a difference in patients’ lives Work/Life balance as well as opportunities for educational and professional growth opportunities Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team Here’s What You Need Nursing Diploma in nursing required or Associate’s degree in nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred 1 year of experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency required Recent PACU or Critical Care experience strongly preferred RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required and BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required and ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required and PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days required and CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually within 90 days required and A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
