Join us.Job DescriptionAECOMis actively seeking an Environmental Engineer for employment within our Environmental Remediation Practices group in our Denver, CO office. (However, we will consider candidates based in CA, TX, MT, AZ as well). This role will support remediation system operations, soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects in a hybrid working model. The ideal candidate will have prior field experience in remediation system operations, maintenance, and monitoring and environmental field data collection including soil, groundwater and vapor sample collection.In addition, the candidate will have some experience in data management and basic technical report production. Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical for this role. Responsibilities include:Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.Identifies discrepancies in results.Provides guidance to entry level engineers.Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or closely related field AND two (2+) years of relevant experience OR demonstrated equivalency of experience and education. Valid driver's license, subject to a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record Screening.Subject to Background check.
