Job Title: Territory Rep – Pharmaceutical Location: Albuquerque, NM Job ID: PSR5y Purpose & Scope Achieve territory sales goals by promoting pharmaceutical products and services to physicians and other medical personnel within assigned geography. Educate customers on product use, characteristics, advantages, indicated treatments and related developments. Represent our healthcare offerings professionally and maintain high visibility and customer satisfaction. Maintain effective communication and relationships with key external and internal customers. Essential Job Responsibilities Promote and educate physicians on our pharmaceutical products through one‑on‑one meetings, group presentations, company‑approved promotional speaker programs, and other approved means. Spend time in the field each week for call planning, customer follow‑up, preparing presentations, making appointments, and report generation. Meet Call Plan expectations and achieve territory product sales goals while adhering to APUS‑defined ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and promotional regulations. Execute company‑approved product marketing plans and territory/regional business plan activities. Support targeted customers using company‑approved resources, sales materials and promotional activities/programs as identified by Sales Management. Coordinate promotional efforts with peers across franchises and co‑promotion alliance partners; manage and maintain all company equipment and promotional materials in accordance with company compliance guidelines. Execute optimal territory sales strategy using annual territory business plan, regional business plan, and call activity reports. Accurately report and submit sales call activities, territory expenses and written reports within deadlines defined by the Regional Sales Manager. Organizational Context Physician customer‑facing pharmaceutical sales rep opportunity. Reports to a National Sales Manager. Manages a territory responsible for several pharmaceutical products. Assumes lead role with primary care and specialty counterpart working relationships. Balances territory and regional work and projects while maintaining strong sales performance. Exhibits strong skill levels in competencies and demonstrates sales influence within the territory and region. Qualifications Prior sales experience or demonstrable sales abilities. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and industry. Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills. Proactive, ownership‑taking approach to situations. Problem‑solving ability, analytical and business acumen. Motivational and persuasive skills. Team‑oriented mindset. Proven record of sustained high sales performance and achievement.
