As an Unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.22 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon09:00 PM - 01:00 AMTue09:00 PM - 01:00 AMWed09:00 PM - 01:00 AMFri09:00 PM - 01:00 AMSat09:00 PM - 01:00 AMSun09:00 PM - 01:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a telecommunications and media location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and reports for security-related incidents and daily activities. Communicate professionally with site personnel, dispatch, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed while supporting a welcoming environment. Minimum Requirements: CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card/license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
