We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing outstanding surgical care. Job Description As a Registered Nurse at Physician's Surgery Center of Chattanooga, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our patients' surgical experience. You will work closely with our surgical team to provide high-quality care, support, and education to patients and their families throughout their surgical journey. Responsibilities Assess and triage patients upon arrival to the surgery center. Administer pre-operative medications and ensure patient readiness for surgery. Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns during surgery. Assist the surgical team during procedures and maintain a sterile field. Provide post-operative care, monitor recovery, and manage pain control. Educate patients and their families on post-operative instructions and follow-up care. Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and fellow healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Ensure infection control protocols and safety standards are followed. Participate in quality improvement initiatives. Required Skills Current Tennessee RN license. BLS and ACLS certifications. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a surgical or perioperative setting preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.
