PET/CT Technologist – Oneida Health Position: Full‑time; Day shift; 4 10‑hour shifts; No call or holiday requirements. Determine appropriate dosage and type of radionuclide under guidance of the radiologist. Order, prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes within license limitations. Properly receive, store, and dispose of radioactive materials per NYS Sanitary Code for ionizing radiation. Prepare stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculate }}>{dosages. Administer radiopharmaceuticals orally, intravenously, or intradermally. Detect and map radiopharmaceuticals, produce images, and record and process results of exams. Calculate, measure, and record radiation dosage of radionuclides with use and disposal. Utilize Radiation Safety Procedures to maintain exposure levels as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA). Use keen observation to monitor patient well‑being, recognize discomfort or medical problems, and take appropriate action. Provide customer‑service attitude, guide patients through the process, explain steps, and answer questions. Maintain diligent records and ensure proper documentation. Operate equipment consistently with standard guidelines and techniques. Maintain a safe work area and inventory of supplies. Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent (Required) Graduate of an AMA school of Nuclear Medicine (Required) License Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT or CN ); board eligible (Required) Experience 1 year as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Preferred) Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Oneida Health by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr Oneida Health
