Perinatal Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Perinatal Sonographer to provide high-quality obstetric and perinatal ultrasound imaging for diverse and high-risk patient populations. In this role, you will perform detailed fetal, maternal, and gynecologic studies using advanced ultrasound technology, following established protocols and documenting clear, accurate images and measurements. You will collaborate closely with maternal-fetal medicine physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to support diagnostic decisions and care planning. The Perinatal Sonographer ensures a compassionate, patient-centered experience by educating patients and families, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns with sensitivity. Responsibilities include maintaining and troubleshooting ultrasound equipment, upholding infection-prevention and safety standards, and accurately updating electronic health records. You will adhere to regulatory guidelines and ALARA principles while contributing to quality and process-improvement initiatives.
