Overview Senior Accountant – Global Accounting & Financial Reporting Are you looking to step beyond a traditional Senior Accountant role and take ownership of a global accounting process within a large public company? This is a unique opportunity to join a finance organization undergoing significant transformation, offering high visibility, meaningful responsibility, and excellent long-term career growth. Responsibilities Own a global accounting process within SAP as the Global Process Owner (GPO). Analyze monthly foreign currency translation (CTA) activity and review submissions from global accounting teams. Prepare journal entries related to foreign exchange (FX) hedge accounting. Support SEC reporting through preparation of financial statement footnotes. Maintain account reconciliations and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP. Partner with Treasury, External Reporting, Accounting Policy, and regional finance teams worldwide. Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate workflows, and enhance reporting efficiency. Qualifications 4+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting and/or industry). Strong understanding of financial reporting, month-end close, and U.S. GAAP. Comfortable owning processes and partnering across multiple teams. Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset. Preferred Qualifications CPA. Public company and/or SEC reporting experience.
