Assistant Research Professor of Neuroscience Location: Kansas City Responsibilities Maintain an active extramurally funded research program. Mentor research projects of graduate and undergraduate health sciences and professional students, residents, and fellows, including teaching responsibilities. Collaborate in interdisciplinary university and hospital research environments. Demonstrate success in obtaining extramural research funding and in mentoring research methodology to students. Balance work distribution of approximately 70% research and 30% service to the university and healthcare partners. Service includes serving on hospital, department, School of Medicine, or university committees. Qualifications M.D. or Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related biomedical disciplines. Anticipated Hiring Range This is a ranked 12‑month, full‑time benefit‑eligible non‑tenure‑track faculty appointment (1.0 FTE) beginning September 1, 2026, with opportunity for ranked promotion.
