Responsibilities Forest View Hospital, located just seven miles southeast of downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, is a private 108 bed psychiatric facility that serves children, adolescents and adults. We are licensed by the State of Michigan, fully accredited by The Joint Commission and we bring more than 45 years of experience to the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health problems. As a part of our continued success and growth, we are seeking qualified applicants for a Lead Cook position. Shift Details: There are 2 positions available: AM Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM PM Shift: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM Position Description The Lead Cook is responsible for safely preparing, cooking, and presenting meals according to hospital recipes and menus for patients, staff, and visitors. The Lead Cook will train new staff and provide guidance and assistance for existing staff regarding kitchen operations. This position backs up the Manager of Dietary/Food Services in their absence.
