Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will have a variety of important responsibilities, including:

• Conducting in-depth assessments and evaluations to accurately identify each client's unique mental health needs and formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Delivering evidence-based therapy services in individual, group, and family settings, utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other relevant methodologies.

• Collaborating with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive comprehensive support throughout their treatment journey.

• Providing crisis intervention and de-escalation support in emergency situations, employing your skills and experience to stabilize clients and facilitate their access to further care.

• Participating in community outreach and educational initiatives aimed at mental health awareness, thereby reducing stigma and promoting well-being within our community.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for the Licensed Mental Health Therapist position will possess the following qualifications:

• An independent and active license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for the establishment of rapport and therapeutic relationships with clients from various cultural backgrounds.

• Demonstrable cultural competence and sensitivity when working with individuals from different ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic groups.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure accurate documentation and timely follow-ups.

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome all qualified candidates, experience in a community mental health setting and proficiency in a variety of therapeutic modalities are preferred. Additionally, any background in crisis intervention or mental health advocacy will be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
