- Licensed by the State Radiation Control Board
Certifications:
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Nuclear)
- Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT), preferred
- CPR Certified (BLS)
Must-Have:
- Trained in venipuncture
- Familiarity with EPIC
- Experience with Siemens PET/CT
- Knowledge of GE General Nuclear Medicine software
- Experience with Spectrum Dynamics DSPECT for Nuclear Cardiology
Description:
Applies the use of radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine/PET CT procedures under the direction of a qualified physician, chief, and/or senior technologist.
Performs all activities according to federal, state, and local policies and regulations.
Operates imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images of specific body parts.
