Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Automation Technician with experience in troubleshooting, installation and maintenance of automated systems within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Location: Sacramento, CA
Pay rate: $70-90K
Direct hire opportunity
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot & maintain automation systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging processes
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems
- Support equipment qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and validation documentation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as GMP, FDA, and 21 CFR Part 11
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and engineering
- Maintain and update automation documentation, including SOPs and technical manuals
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance and reduce downtime
- HS or Associates Degree in Engineering or graduate from trade school.
- 4+ years of experience in GMP regulated environment.
- Hands-on experience with troubleshoot PLC (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
