Role Summary

We are seeking a hands-on, systems-focused Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations in a

fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for equipment reliability, preventive

maintenance, cost control, safety, and cross-functional support. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who

builds systems, drives accountability, and prioritizes in-house solutions over outsourcing.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Ownership

 Lead and delegate work to maintenance staff while maintaining accountability

 Take full ownership of maintenance performance and outcomes

 Maintain a management-first mindset while supporting the floor when needed

 Provide leadership support outside normal hours when required

Maintenance Planning & Organization

 Establish, enforce, and improve maintenance processes and standards

 Plan, prioritize, and control maintenance jobs and projects

 Develop contingency and backup plans for critical equipment

 Manage maintenance activities within budget constraints

Preventive Maintenance & Reliability

 Build, maintain, and enforce a strong preventive maintenance (PM) program

 Ensure PM compliance and integrate cleaning into PM routines

 Identify and eliminate recurring equipment issues

 Drive improvements in uptime, reliability, and downtime reduction

Communication & Reporting

 Communicate clearly with production and leadership on priorities and downtime

 Provide accurate repair estimates and timely updates

 Use CMS or tracking systems to document work and performance

 Maintain professional, consistent reporting

Qualifications

 Experience managing maintenance in a manufacturing or production environment

 Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and CMMS

 Proven ability to lead teams and implement processes

 Experience with cost control, vendor management, and inventory

 Strong communication and problem-solving skills
