Pre-Kindergarten Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Warwick, NY. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young learners. You will design and implement a play-based curriculum that prepares children for kindergarten while instilling a lifelong love of learning. What You'll Do Plan and execute developmentally appropriate lesson plans and daily activities. Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and collaboration. Assess and monitor student progress to adapt teaching methods to individual learning styles. Maintain open and professional communication with parents regarding their child's development and milestones. Ensure classroom safety and cleanliness in compliance with state licensing standards. Requirements Degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Education (Birth-2), or a related field. Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in a structured setting. Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Certification Preference: NYS Teacher Certification (e.g., Early Childhood B-2, or Students with Disabilities B-2) for UPK classroom or working toward certification. Nice To Have 2+ year early childhood teaching experience Experience working with children with special education needs or an understanding of inclusive practices. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
