What you'll do as an Oncology Pharmacy Tech Responsible for the accurate and safe compounding of medication admixtures in an environment set forth by USP 797 chapter and organization policies and procedures Handle hazardous drugs according to USP 800 and NIOSH recommendations Maintaining a clean room for sterile compounding, performing routine quality assurance monitoring, complying with regulatory and institutional guidelines for the disposal of hazardous drug waste, and perform other miscellaneous job related tasks/activities as assigned by the supervising pharmacist We Offer Our Oncology IV Pharmacy Technicians DailyPay! Newly licensed technicians have 2 years from license effective date to obtain their CPhT and become licensed as a registered certified pharmacy technician.
