They will perform electrical testing on aerospace products using IR/DWV multimeter. This role focuses on producing high-quality products safely, efficiently, and on schedule while meeting both internal and external customer requirements. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to identify quality issues, and flexibility to support multiple functions through cross-training.Key ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Under close supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:Assembly of components accurately and efficiently according to blueprint drawings, work instructions, and specifications.Perform visual inspection on incoming product for contamination and defects.Remove defective materials and report any part, tooling, or equipment issues to supervision promptly.Use templates to validate conformance to specifications.Perform electrical testing using specified equipment and submit data into ERP system.Use of various inspection and measuring tools, including magnifying glass, scales, and calipers.Operate or tend packaging machinery and regulate machine flow, speed, or temperature as required.Cross-train and rotate across multiple workstations to support production needs and efficiency.Communicate and collaborate effectively with Supervisors, Production Leads, and peers to support department goals.Follow all safety standards and procedures, including PPE requirements.Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area using safety standards and expectationsOther duties as needed or assigned by supervisor.Required SkillsAbility to deal with and solve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Ability to sort, inspect, and compare products for accuracy and quality.Strong attention to detail and ability to count accurately.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Inspect parts and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.Ability to safely handle cleaning agents such as alcohol solvents following procedures.Self-motivated with the ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.Proficiently in Microsoft Suite, data entry and document uploads.Previous blueprint reading and interpretation experience.Ability to use a variety of measuring equipment and hand tools.Preferred SkillsQuality inspection experience in manufacturing.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.Education RequirementsHigh School Degree or General Education Degree; or two (2) to three (3) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceTwo (2) + years of aerospace assembly experience.Blueprint reading certificate desired.Physical RequirementsFrequent use of hands for handling small components and tools.Ability to perform similar operations and tasks for 6-8 hours.Ability to stand for 6 to 8 hours.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionallyAbility to perform visual inspection to perform close?up inspection tasks for 4 to 6 hours.Working ConditionsWork performed indoors in environmentally controlled environments.Required use of PPE including smocks, gloves, hairnets/full face covers, shoe covers, and safety?toed footwear.All offers of employment at Fralock are contingent upon clear results of a background check.
