Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images following established protocols.
  
  
• 
  Ensure patient positioning for optimal imaging results while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with state and facility-specific licensing and certification requirements.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to infection control and safety procedures, including COVID protocols and drug screening requirements.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with radiology team and physicians to deliver precise diagnostic services.
  
  
• 
  Document procedures accurately in the EPIC EMR system and verify documentation completeness.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Minimum of 5 years current X-ray experience in hospital environments.
  
  
• 
  Active NYS Rad Tech license and ARRT certification required.
  
  
• 
  Proven experience with EPIC EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Strong background working in level 1 trauma hospitals preferred.
  
  
• 
  Current AHA BLS certification required.
  
  
• 
  Valid drivers license and permanent address verification required.
