The ideal candidate will have prior veterinary experience and a proven background in leadership, training, and team development—paired with a business-minded approach to hospital growth.As our Hospital Manager, you'll work closely with the Medical Director and leadership team, taking ownership of daily operations and guiding our hospital toward continued success.Key Responsibilities Include:Financial Leadership: Monitor hospital performance, manage budgets, oversee payroll and financial operations, and drive business growth through data-informed decisions.Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient workflow, maintain regulatory compliance (OSHA, DEA, VMB), manage equipment and inventory, and implement hospital policies and procedures.Strategic Direction: Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute long-term goals, expand services, and support referral and business partnerships.Project & Facility Management: Lead day-to-day operations, scheduling, and maintenance while aligning administrative functions with overall hospital objectives.Client & Community Engagement: Oversee marketing strategies, resolve client concerns, enhance client experience, and foster retention and growth.Team Leadership: Manage and support department leads, oversee hiring and development, maintain staffing levels, and promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture.Schedule, Benefits and CompensationThis is a full-time, salaried position and schedule flexibility is required based on business needs.Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 annual base salaryBi-Annual Bonus Opportunities: Based on hospital performanceHiring Bonus Package: $2000 based on credentialsCE Allowance: up to $1,000 based on credentialsHealth Package: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (with HSA options)Life Insurance and DisabilityEmployee Assistance Program401k with matchPaid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable lawPersonal pet discountYour Qualifications5+ years of Veterinary hospital management experience requiredBachelor's degree, Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM), or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.Experience managing budgets, staffing, scheduling, and day-to-day operations.Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.Proficient with business software and able to adapt quickly to new systems.What Makes New Braunfels Veterinary Clinic Unique?For more than 35 years, New Braunfels Veterinary Clinic has been a trusted veterinary partner for pets and their families throughout New Braunfels and the surrounding communities.
