Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds 24 licensed spots Number of Staff 41 Type of staff: Day Shift 1 charge with an assignment, no nursing aids utilized. Staffing depends on acuity. Night Shift same as above Patient Ratios 1:1-4:1 Type of equipment Level 3, oscillators, vents, bubble CPAP, central lines, 23 weeders, ABG machine, pump feeds, telemedicine EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Prior Meditech experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Circs, pneumo taps, intubations, chest tubes (assist with level 3 procedures), no surgeries done at Rose NICU, no nitric or no head/body cooling. PIV's, medication administration, giving blood, handoffs for communications. Blood draws from arterial, heel and venous. Transitions are observed in NICU, delivery experience as NICU attends all high risk deliveries.
