Radiology Interventional Technologist / Special Procedure Tech at Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR. Full-Time Day Shift $15,000 Sign-on Bonus – available to eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment. Providence Portland Medical Center (PPMC) offers a unique opportunity to engage in a variety of specialties—including a thriving cardiac/STEMI program, a highly skilled IR program that treats pulmonary embolism, embolizations, and interventional cancer, and a neuro/Stroke program. The team is empowered to speak up and cultivate processes that directly impact patient outcomes. For example, a recent pilot project reduced door-to-device time for our stroke population by over 14 minutes, setting a new hospital record of 50 minutes in 2024. Radiology Interventional Technologists (RIT) in the Cardiac Cath Lab play an integral role on our four-person teams, operating Philips fluoroscopy units and several intravascular imaging modalities (Philips IVUS, Abbott OCT) as well as atherectomy (rotoblator, CSI, Shockwave, laser) and thrombectomy equipment (Penumbra, AngioJet, Inari). An ideal candidate is ambitious, open to growth in the evolving field of percutaneous interventional treatment, compassionate, and able to help patients when they are at their lowest point. Under the direct supervision of the physician, you will provide cardiovascular/radiologic care to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, assist the physician as required, and monitor radiation safety during procedures. Required Qualifications Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology Oregon Radiographer License upon hire National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire Preferred Qualifications 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures Lab. Compensation Pay Range: $46.81 – $72.66 per hour. Base pay is determined by relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
