Quality Assurance Technician

As an In-Process Quality Assurance Technician, you will turn work instructions and control plans into action—verifying product quality, interpreting data trends, and partnering with operations to prevent defects before they happen.A day in the lifeBegin your shift by reviewing control plans and work instructions; coordinate with the team on upcoming changeovers and assist as needed.Perform in-process quality checks to keep the process nominal; record inspections in the Quality System and, when required, enter GMaP’s data.Watch reliability and yield indicators, spotting trends early and communicating them clearly.Keep the workspace audit-ready with disciplined 5S habits and a safety-first mindset.Know your PPE and the location/purpose of all lockouts and e-stops; act promptly to keep production running safely in a fast-paced environment.Troubleshoot issues, solve problems at the root, and take initiative on departmental tasks assigned by supervision.What you bringStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and goals.Clear communicator—oral and written—with a track record of reliability and independent work.Leads by example through work ethic, good attendance, sound judgment, and a positive attitude.Basic computer skills preferred.Team-oriented, cooperative, and skilled at finding common ground to resolve problems.Self-motivated with initiative and a drive to deliver excellent work.Uphold Carlex values: Safety, Accountability, Results Oriented, Team Approach, Customer Focused, Integrity and Ethics.Schedule and physical expectationsAble to work standard 8-hour shifts Monday–Friday.Open to day or night schedules and overtime as needed.Frequently lift up to 45 lbs.Reliable transportation; regular and predictable attendance.Work beyond 40 hours may be required based on workload or projects, including weekends and holidays.Rewards and benefitsShift premium $1.50 and shift commitment bonus $2.00.Sign on Bonus $1500, plus referral and quarterly bonuses.Medical, vision, and dental coverage starting Day 1.Paid life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability.401K.2 weeks' vacation.Branded work attire, steel toes, and safety glasses provided.Safety driven culture.ComplianceAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. #J-18808-Ljbffr
