What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, dock areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries entering and leaving the location, following established post orders and reporting issues to site contacts when needed.
• Support daily operations at a busy logistics and distribution location by maintaining a visible presence, communicating with personnel, and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
