Systems Security Engineer

Basic Qualifications RRequires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibilityrequirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S.citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position We are seeking a Systems Security Engineer who has experience in the design and development of NSA-certified Cybersecurity devices. Key Responsibilities:Design and develop specifications for mission-critical NSA-certified Cybersecurity devicesCollaborate with software and validation engineering teams to deliver high-speed data solutionsDevelop real-time multi-threaded Embedded System architecture using Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and techniquesAnalyze and maintain system security requirements throughout product development lifecycleConduct trade studies, perform functional analysis, and design system security.Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.Preferred Skills and Experiences:NSA approved Cryptography/EncryptionSecurity requirements analysisReal-Time multi-threaded Embedded System architecture and developmentModel-based Systems Engineering (MBSE)CISSP certification or similarINCOSE ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP certificationWe value candidates who possess:Drive to expand knowledge and experience in designing complex systemsAbility to define project scope, schedule, and expected resultsInitiative to complete assignments and ability to engage in technical direction and leadershipOur Commitment to You:An exciting career path with opportunities for continuous learning and developmentResearch-oriented work with award-winning teamsCompetitive benefits package#CJ3 Salary Note This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
