TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Big Spring, Texas, 79720!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) or 10 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience and prior travel experience required License: Active RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience (minimum 1 year) - Experience with patient ratio management - Familiarity with Community hospital charting systems - Experience in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting preferred - Trauma Level I or II experience preferred - Travel experience highly preferred Description: 36/48 hour alternating schedule. Most patients are adults, but pediatric patients may be assigned. The RN should be comfortable caring for pediatric patients. Perm staff will be available for support as needed. The unit staffing has a ratio of 5 patients per nurse during day and night shifts. Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, and Rapid Response Teams. The daily census is approximately 8 patients. Equipment and special procedures details are provided prior to start.
