Physical Therapist - Kauai, HI

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Flexibility in work hours may occur. Must be available to work on Saturdays as required.

Job Description

This role involves performing Physical Therapy evaluations and treatments in a variety of settings, primarily focusing on outpatient care (75%) and inpatient settings including acute care, ICU, and skilled nursing facility (SNF) (25%). The therapist will work independently to provide thorough care for all outpatient diagnoses and facilitate mobility progression in inpatient settings while utilizing knowledge of discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Deliver physical therapy treatments and interventions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Facilitate patient mobility progression across various care levels.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Manage a full therapy schedule, including both new evaluations and regular treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Physical Therapist license in Hawaii is required.
• Experience in inpatient (acute, ICU, SNF) and outpatient physical therapy settings.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong critical thinking skills.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
