Details Level III trauma hospital ICU (transitioning to Level II trauma this year) with two pods spanning 28 beds Cares for neuro surgical, trauma, cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, and ETOH/drug withdrawal patients, including all ventilated patients Typical patient ratios of 1:2, ranging from 1:1 to 1:3 depending on acuity Uses Pyxis, Plum Pump IVs, GE bedside monitors, Nellcor, Arctic Sun, and Sub-Zero equipment Charts in Meditech EMR Night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM 13-week assignment length Critical care tech support staffed 6 days a week Requirements Active RN license (CO state or compact) required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital ICU experience required TNCC certification preferred Meditech EMR experience preferred No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted) One professional reference required Additional Information Join a welcoming ICU team with a wide range of experience levels, including staff with 20+ years of tenure Work alongside 24/7 Intensivist coverage known for being patient, collaborative, and respectful of staff Facility recently expanded with a new 12-bed ICU pod to support a total capacity of 28 ICU patients Average facility census ranges from 100-125 patients Best fit for candidates who are flexible, team-oriented, and patient-centered Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position First-time travelers may be considered American Traveler Job ID #P-733849.
