Sterile Processing TechnicianUnit notes: Sterile processing info - 2+ years of experience required. Certification is required for sterile processing techs, they will accept certification through IAHCSMM or CBSPD, they also need to have their BLS and 2 years of experience working in sterile processing. Equipment used: Steris, Sterad. Common patient equipment to disinfect/common supplies to sterilize: High level disinfection, VP plasma, steam sterilization. They will not be required to float anywhere, shifts are 8 hrs - 7a-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am.
