Position Summary The Human Resources Benefits Coordinator is responsible for administering employee benefit programs, coordinating leave management processes, maintaining HR records, supporting onboarding activities, and serving as a key resource for employees and leaders regarding HR policies, benefits, and employment‑related questions. This position plays a vital role in creating a positive employee experience while ensuring compliance with federal and state employment regulations. Key Responsibilities Administer employee benefit programs, enrollments, and qualifying life event changes. Assist employees with benefits, leave administration, payroll, and HR‑related questions. Coordinate Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Colorado FAMLI, and other leave programs. Process employee status changes and maintain accurate records in the HRIS system. Coordinate workers' compensation and short‑term disability claims. Plan and facilitate new hire onboarding. Support annual Open Enrollment activities. Maintain job descriptions and personnel records. Assist with ACA, OSHA, and other required regulatory reporting. Coordinate unemployment claims and employment verifications. Serve as a trusted resource to employees and leaders while maintaining confidentiality. Qualifications High school diploma. Minimum two years of experience in Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Payroll, or a related field. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Experience with UKG, Paycor or other HRIS platforms. Knowledge of FMLA, FAMLI, ACA, COBRA, and Workers' Compensation regulations. Healthcare experience preferred. SHRM‑CP, PHR, or other HR certification preferred.
