Job Description:
The Buyer will assist the Buying Team in various procurement activities such as setting up new vendors, maintaining pricing and lead times in the database, placing and maintaining of purchase orders, gathering supplier delivery dates, supplier training on AR procedures and the portal system, resolving incoming deliveries and invoicing discrepancies, and gathering and distributing team metrics as needed. Other projects possibly related to improving efficiencies through automation and dashboard creation.
Successful candidates will be highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint). An understanding of data management and databases such as Oracle, Agile, and Kinaxis are a plus. The candidate must be able to work in a highly demanding but collegial environment where teamwork is essential.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
1+ years of experience in a high-volume, global procurement and operations manufacturing environment.
Experience managing and executing on procurement needs for new product introduction programs.
Experience with ERP Systems, preferably Oracle EBS.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools.
Excel, ERP system (Oracle EBS, SAP is preferred), basic SQL, supply chain management knowledge
