Job Overview Starting hourly rate: $16.75 USD per hour. Pay range: $16.75 – $25.15 USD per hour. The Human Resources Expert role supports teams and leaders to build a sales force that exceeds guests’ expectations. Responsibilities include applying employment law knowledge, using Microsoft Office and scheduling systems, recruiting new talent, training, compliance, and employee engagement. Responsibilities Deliver a friendly, easy, and inspiring guest experience by greeting guests, helping find items, resolving issues, and thanking them. Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive, respectful attitude. Adjust to business and guest needs to create a smooth experience. Collaborate with the HR leader to anticipate and address talent and staffing needs for each store area. Lead focused recruiting efforts to support store hiring. Support training for teammates and leaders, promoting continuous learning. Serve as an expert resource for scheduling systems, pay practices, and workforce management tools. Listen to team members, remain approachable, and collaborate with leaders to act on opportunities or concerns. Execute all HR processes and programs to maximize engagement and minimize disruption. Maintain compliance with company policies that mitigate risk to the team member experience. Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely at all times. Perform other duties as determined by business needs. Qualifications Enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and teammates. Thrives in a fast‑moving, highly active, and physically demanding role with teamwork, flexibility, and problem‑solving. Open to a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times. Required Skills Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members. Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment. Effective communication skills. Works independently and with a team. Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot. Attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes. Remains focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment while multitasking. Physical Demands Accurately handle cash register operations as needed. Frequently lift or move merchandise up to 10pounds; occasionally up to 44pounds without assistance. Work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other environmental conditions while performing duties such as Drive‑Up and carry‑out. Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift; may need to change locations during the shift. Maintain a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays; attend scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks.
