Pharmacy Technician

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30 am - 5:00 pm The Pharmacy Technician works under the supervision of the Pharmacist-in-Charge to support day-to-day pharmacy operations and ensure accurate, efficient medication services. This role plays an important part in maintaining medication inventory, preparing prescriptions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to promote safe and effective pharmaceutical care. Key Responsibilities Support prescription processing, including entering physician orders and preparing medications for pharmacist review Assist with medication dispensing and packaging Maintain accurate inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies Support controlled substance tracking, audits, and compliance activities Transport medications and pharmacy supplies to partner locations as needed Collaborate with pharmacists, providers, and care teams to ensure coordinated service delivery Assist with billing records, reporting, and general documentation Contribute to quality improvement initiatives Support onboarding and training of new team members Perform other duties as assigned Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise High School/GED preferred QUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS At least one (1) year experience as a pharmacy technician preferred Must have CALM protect training either upon hire or within 30 days of hire A valid, unrestricted driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required QUALIFICATION(S): LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION A valid, unencumbered State Pharmacy Technician Registration required You’ll be a great fit for this role if you: Bring strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare setting Communicate clearly and effectively with both clinical staff and patients Stay organized and can manage multiple priorities with confidence Are passionate about supporting access to care and improving community wellness Take initiative and are eager to learn and grow within your role
