Registered Nurse Crisis Stabilization Unit, Full Time Night Location: Columbus, Georgia Facility: St. Francis-Emory Healthcare Become part of the Bradley Center, the psychiatric and behavioral health arm of St. Francis-Emory Healthcare in Columbus, GA. The Bradley Center offers specialized psychiatric care in partnership with our acute care system. Job Summary Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical practice standards. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care and desired outcomes. Essential Functions Ability to practice nursing: diagnose and treat human responses to health changes; utilize nursing process including administering treatments, interpreting diagnostics, formulating care plans, collaborating with providers, and educating patients. Collects patient health data: determines priority, collects data using appropriate assessment techniques, involves patient and team, documents in medical record. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses/patient problems; validates with patient and providers; documents in record. Identifies expected outcomes: derives from diagnoses, documents measurable goals, formulates outcomes with patient/providers; ensures realistic, attainable, time-based, and supportive of continuity of care. Develops a plan of care: individualizes interventions; develops with patient and team; ensures current practice; documents and provides continuity. Implements interventions: establishes, safe application, documents interventions. Evaluates progress: systematic evaluation, documents responses, evaluates effectiveness, revises plan as needed, involves patient and team. Participates in quality-of-care activities: identifies quality aspects, indicators, collects data, analyzes and recommends improvements, implements practice changes. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, graduate of an accredited nursing school. Licenses/Certifications: Current RN license in the state of practice or compact state required.
