Role
Endocrinologist in a physician-owned multi-specialty group.
Responsibilities
Provide outpatient endocrine care, collaborate with support staff, and participate in a community-based practice. The clinic offers comprehensive onsite services, including laboratory, imaging, infusion, EEG, AEEG, and EMG-NCV. No inpatient endocrinology call is required, with inpatient coverage provided by hospitalist programs.
Qualifications
Board certification or recent residency in endocrinology is preferred. Strong communication skills are essential.
Work Environment
Private office with exam and procedure rooms, supported by front and back-office staff. The facility is part of a modern, financially stable hospital close to the clinic, with collaborative relationships with hospital administration and medical staff.
Compensation & Benefits
Guaranteed annual salary of $230,000, with RVU-based incentives, signing bonus, relocation assistance, and CME allowance. Ownership in the clinic and building LLCs is expected within two years, offering additional income potential.
Additional Details
Practice hours are Monday through Thursday and Friday mornings. The clinic participates in fee-for-service and value-based contracts, with low Medicaid and uninsured patient volumes. The community offers a family-friendly environment with recreational activities, good schools, and proximity to larger cities and natural attractions.
