This role is for one of our clients Compensation: $250-$350 per hour We are seeking experienced professionals from the UK restaurant and hospitality industry to participate in a paid research project focused on restaurant operations, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and hospitality technology platforms. This is a fully remote, project-based consulting opportunity involving expert interviews with a leading research client. Ideal Candidate ProfilesProfile 1: COO / Operations Director – Restaurant Groups (5–30 Locations) Candidates should have experience overseeing operations for multi-site restaurant groups and ideally have led the evaluation, selection, or implementation of POS systems and broader restaurant technology solutions. Discussion areas include: Operational challenges and inefficiencies Current restaurant technology ecosystem Technology evaluation and purchasing criteria Implementation experiences Factors influencing vendor selection and switching decisions Integration and scalability considerations Profile 2: Owner or Senior Operator – Small Restaurant Businesses (1–5 Locations) Candidates should represent a different operating model such as: Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) Fast Casual Concepts Cafés and Coffee Chains Pubs and Hospitality Venues Delivery-First or Digital-First Restaurants Discussion areas include: Day-to-day operational pain points Existing technology stack and digital tools Purchasing decision processes Budget considerations and willingness to invest in technology Support and service expectations Digital maturity and integration requirements Profile 3: Former or Current Commercial / Product Leader – Restaurant Technology Provider Candidates should have leadership experience within restaurant technology or POS solution providers. Relevant experience may include product strategy, commercial leadership, go-to-market planning, or market development within hospitality technology organizations.
