Description

• The Agency is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Clinical Workflow and Documentation to plan, coordinate, and deliver initiatives that support the Patients Before Paperwork (Pb4P) Program.
• This role sits at the intersection of project management, clinical operations, digital health transformation, and change management. Working closely with product teams, clinical leaders, physicians, health system partners, policy teams, regional delivery teams, and vendor partners, the Senior Project Manager will ensure clinical workflow and documentation solutions are effectively designed, implemented, adopted, and continuously improved across the province.
• The Senior Project Manager will engage with the Agency's teams across portfolios and regions to advance large-scale provincial digital health initiatives that support workflow modernization, clinical documentation efficiency, and clinician experience improvements. The role will support clinical and operational leaders in identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce duplication, and enhance the usability and value of digital health tools within care settings.
• The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing programmatic activities that support the successful planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of strategic initiatives, including project governance, stakeholder engagement, risk and issue management, dependency coordination, benefits realization, and performance measurement.

Responsibilities:

• Provide program management guidance and expertise of large scale, highly complex, high profile and high-risk initiatives that may be multi-jurisdictional and/or enterprise-wide.
• Ensure accountability for the program's centralized group of projects and their successful full life cycle delivery.
• Ensure programs are delivered cost effectively and efficiently, and in compliance with organization's methodologies, standards and frameworks.

Required Skills:

• Strategic Project Leadership: Proven ability to coordinate and support complex projects from initiation through implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Clinical Workflow and Process Improvement: Strong understanding of clinical workflows, documentation practices, administrative burden challenges, and opportunities for workflow optimization.
• Digital Health Knowledge: Understanding of electronic medical records (EMRs), clinical documentation solutions, workflow automation, interoperability, and healthcare technology adoption.

Required Experience:

• Project Management (PM) experience: Strong PM experience especially handling large, complex projects
• Healthcare experience: Strong understanding of healthcare systems, particularly referral process
• Communication skills : Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders, clinical champions and peers
• Relationship management: Experience with managing relationships with multiple partners in both internal and external organizations

Deliverables

• Deliverables Include (Deliverables resource is responsible for):
• Coordinate and manage provincial clinical workflow and documentation transformation initiatives
• Drive clinical adoption, change management, and engagement activities to ensure successful implementation and sustained use of solutions.
• Manage complex program delivery, dependencies, risks, and external partnerships across multiple healthcare stakeholders.
• Develop performance measurement and benefits realization frameworks to monitor outcomes and support continuous improvement.

Additional Terms

• The term of this Engagement Assignment is for 119 Business Days, with an option to extend for up to an additional 100 days at the Agency's discretion. The Engagement Assignment may be extended for unused Business Days at the Agency's discretion.
• The resource will comply with the Agency's policies and procedures.
• The resource will be issued an Agency laptop and is expected to provide at least one additional monitor, an external keyboard and a mouse at their own expense. In addition, when the resource is working from their home location they must have a private office space and are not permitted to work in an open communal space. Internet connection must be hard-wired and suitable bandwidth to support the IT requirements of this role. If these conditions cannot be met within their home office space, the resource will transition to full time in office, and the hybrid option will no longer be available.
• The Agency systems cannot be accessed from outside the province of Ontario, and Agency assets including laptops and related equipment cannot be removed from the province of Ontario, without prior written approval from the Agency.
• Assignment Type: This position is currently listed as "Hybrid". The resource under this request will be required to work onsite as per Hiring Manager sole discretion.
