Pack-Out Lead

Green Garden Products, a subsidiary of Central Garden & Pet, is now seeking a Pack-Out Lead for the Norton, MA facility. This is a full-time position. The Pack-Out Lead will work with the Plant Manager to meet production schedules. This position pays a range of $18 to $19 per hour, based on experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Train, coach and develop pack-out team.
• Confirm that the production lines are supplied with raw-materials to meet production needs.
• Able to measure production and give feedback to the team.
• Available to fill in as needed for breaks, absences, assistance.
• Clean and maintain safe work area.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely.
• Other duties as required.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Previous production/packing experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with all levels within the facility.
• Ability to manage priorities and adapt to changes in workflow.
• Strong team player.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach and clean.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work is conducted in a warehouse environment with temperature changes depending on the season.
