Job Description

18 Wheels USA is hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated local route based in Van Nuys, California. This home-daily position operates within approximately 250 miles of the brewery.Drivers earn an average of $1,600 per week. Compensation is mileage-based and includes bonus incentives.PAY AND ROUTETop average weekly pay: $1,600Home dailyDedicated local operationSolo driving positionLimited openings availableFREIGHT AND EQUIPMENTMost loads are preloaded and no-touch. Drivers are responsible for securing and strapping pallets, confirming each load is legal, and checking that the freight is in good condition before departure.Mostly preloaded freightNo unloading on most loadsNewer automatic-transmission trucksTrucks remain at the brewery and cannot be taken homeSCHEDULEDrivers are home daily, but this is not a fixed-shift position. Start times and schedules may vary based on route and freight needs.QUALIFICATIONSValid Class A CDLMust meet one of the following tractor-trailer experience requirements:At least 3 months of tractor-trailer driving experience within the past 12 months; orDuring the past 10 years, must have spent at least as much time driving a tractor-trailer as time away from drivingAbility to secure palletized freight and verify that loads are safe and legalAbility to meet DOT and company hiring standardsApply Todayto be considered for this home-daily CDL-A opportunity!
