Senior FP&A Manager

As our growth continues to accelerate, we’re looking for a high‑caliber FP&A leader to join our finance team. The Senior FP&A Manager reports directly to the Director of FP&A, oversees the financial planning and analysis function, and drives system and data efficiencies across the business. Compensation Overview The annual base salary range for this position is $104,000.00 – $171,700.00. Actual salary will be based on scope, complexity, location, qualifications and experience. Employees are eligible for performance‑based cash incentive awards. Responsibilities Oversee the Financial Planning & Analysis function (60% time allocation): Prepare and present clear, insightful financial performance reports to the broader business, leadership team, and board. Own consolidation and presentation of the annual operating budget and ongoing forecasts. Support the Director of FP&A and VP of Finance in preparing scenario planning models and conducting sensitivity analysis to evaluate financial outcomes under various assumptions. Serve as the go‑to finance partner for shared‑service teams (People, Legal, Engineering, etc.), assisting with expense variance analysis and capitalization assessments. Partner with Data & Analytics and other business functions to define and implement new metrics and KPIs, ensuring measurability against key financial levers. Manage the ongoing development, daily priorities, and work allocation of senior analysts on the team. Serve as the US Finance lead in delivering operational improvements related to FP&A systems & data processes (20% time allocation): Collaborate with the Global Finance Change team to implement and optimize our Enterprise Performance Management system (OneStream) and associated data infrastructure. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial data across all reporting and analysis systems. Identify and implement “quick wins” to automate financial reporting, consolidate data sources, and streamline planning processes using AI and other technology. Partner with senior functional leaders as required, ensuring operational decisions align with short‑ and long‑term financial objectives. Qualifications Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment. Strong ability to influence and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. Exceptional problem‑solving skills with a knack for turning data into clear, actionable insights. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities. Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to senior executives. Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing financial systems. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (required). Master’s degree (MBA) or relevant professional certification (CFA, CPA) preferred. 7+ years of experience in an FP&A role, with at least 2‑3 years in a leadership or management capacity. Experience with Google Suite, Looker, OneStream, or other BI platforms/EPM systems. Experience working for a P&C insurance provider preferable, but not required.
