Our agency opened in 2021 and has grown into a team of five who are focused on education, service, and long-term growth. I began my career as a State Farm team member in 2011 and worked in two different states. Originally from Louisiana, I lived in Wyoming from 2011 to 2015, always knowing I wanted to become an agent. I ultimately moved back home to Louisiana to open my own agency and serve the community I care about most. I stay very involved locally as President of the Kiwanis Club and a member of Rotary and the Knights of Columbus. Giving back and staying engaged in the community is a priority for me and our agency. We offer PTO, paid holidays, flexibility for family needs, a 401(k), and licensing reimbursement. We understand that life happens, and we work to create a supportive, family-conscious environment. Our mission is to be the #1 resource for our customers—helping them navigate their options, educating them, and offering real support. We believe sales are a byproduct of doing the right thing and educating customers well. We have plans to continue growing throughout the state and into neighboring areas. Strong math and problem-solving skills are important, as is a genuine desire to help others. Billy Cormier - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
