AWS Sr Cloud Architect
Location: Charlotte NC (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months plus contract
Rate – DOE
US Citizen, Green Card, GC EAD, and H4 EAD can apply for this role, No third party corp to corp.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Cloud Planning and Governance: Develop and oversee strategic cloud initiatives and governance frameworks.
- AWS Landing Zone Implementation: Design and implement AWS Landing Zones for a robust cloud foundation.
- AWS Control Tower: Utilize AWS Control Tower to manage multi-account AWS environments.
- Cloud Security Frameworks: Architect advanced cloud security frameworks ensuring compliance and robust security measures.
- Solution Implementation and Optimization: Implement and optimize cloud solutions to meet business needs.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Plan and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and innovation in cloud practices.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Cloud Architecture: Extensive experience with AWS Landing Zone, AWS Control Tower, and implementing cloud security measures.
- Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of AWS core services, infrastructure as code (IaC), and designing multi-account AWS environments with a focus on security and governance.
- Security and Compliance: Expert understanding of cloud security principles, IAM, network security, and compliance standards applicable to the industry.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of leading cloud transformation projects and driving the adoption of cloud best practices.
- Team Player and Collaborator: Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with all project members to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, with additional certifications in Security Specialty being highly desirable.
- Implementation Experience: Proven experience in implementing AWS LandingZone, Advanced Networking, AWS Control Tower, and Cloud Security Frameworks.
