Position Overview Loading and securing boats and equipment for transporting to dealers. May also drive forklift and yard tractors to move boats for shipment from the plant following safety guidelines and designated procedures. Roles and Responsibilities Load finished boats for shipment from the plant. Move boats and equipment to load area and load items on trailers or containers. Secure boats and equipment for transport. Cut wooden rigging elements. Track workload via daily schedules and assignments, ensuring quality and timeliness. Perform job functions safely and effectively in a fast‑paced, noisy environment while wearing required PPE including eye, hearing, hand, knee and foot protection. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Three months’ experience in a manufacturing setting (preferred). Previous forklift operation required. Detailed and organized, with ability to read and understand production schedules. Computer skills preferred. Positive work attitude, willingness to learn departmental job functions, adherence to safety and quality requirements. Ability to perform job functions safely and effectively in a fast‑paced, noisy environment while wearing required PPE. Working Conditions Regularly required to work at heights on platforms, lift parts and pieces up to 70 lbs., travel up and down stairs, sit, squat, bend and work overhead. Exposed to noise, dust, fumes and odors. Physical exertion required. Must stand, bend and twist for a 10‑hour shift. May be required to work in a non‑air‑conditioned area. Vision protection and steel‑toed shoes are required. Hearing protection may be required. Compensation and Benefits The anticipated pay range for this position is $18.00–$20.00 per hour. Compensation is based on candidate’s qualifications and business needs.
