Job Title

Location: Shreveport, LA

Duration: 3 Months

Responsibilities:

• Help in loading truck for morning deliveries
• Prepare delivery schedule
• Deliver material at location designated by customer
• Obtain customer's signature for proof of delivery and help to unload truck where necessary
• Assist the Branch Operations Manager in assuring proper maintenance is performed on the truck
• When not driving the truck, perform the duties of a Warehouse Associate
• Select material for shipment
• Restock bins and tables
• Perform functions necessary to keep warehouse neat and orderly
• Complete and submit daily post vehicle inspection reports
• Complete and submit daily hours of service log books
• Submit all fuel receipts
• Receive material and handle all incoming shipments, verifying purchased products and entering order receipts into WESCOM as required
• Stock keeping: Place received material into proper warehouse storage locations and advise management of new locations for inventory updates
• Picking/Packing/Shipping: Pull, pack, weigh, and label materials for shipment; prepare bills of lading and express receipts
• Return Material Handling/Nonconforming Product Control: Maintain Return Material Authorization/Credit Memo forms and inspect return material condition
• Warehouse Housekeeping/Preventive Maintenance: Sweep and clean warehouse, handle supplies, maintain lighting levels, store equipment, and clean truck/parking area
• Record customer complaints and initiate corrective actions when appropriate
• Counter Sales: Sell, assemble, and package over-the-counter sales and handle telephone inquiries/orders
• Ability to lift up to a maximum of 50lbs
• Operate forklift when required and trained

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• At least 3 years prior non-CDL employment
• Valid Driver's License
