Supervisory Auditor

Duties
The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity.
The duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Directs and coordinates investigation teams that perform complex financial investigations of the assigned national livestock, meat, and poultry industry throughout the United States.
- Develops annual and long-range work plans to investigate anti-competitive, unfair, unjustly discriminatory, or deceptive practices in the assigned national livestock, meat, and poultry industry.
- Works closely with attorneys in planning investigations, reviewing investigative reports, overseeing the compilation of evidence and drawing up a proposed complaint for use in hearings and litigation.
- Makes oral and written presentations describing investigation procedures and results, and relevant developments to other interested personnel.
- Provides technical and administrative supervision over the Auditors in the Financial Unit and other agents as assigned.
- Advise subordinates on both work and administrative matters dealing with duties assigned.
