Position Details

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MRI Technologist for a unique opportunity with the following details:

• Shift: Day 5x9.5-Hour (11:30 AM - 9:00 PM); Day 2x12-Hour (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• Schedule: Thursday through Wednesday
• On-Call Requirement: Yes, 1 night a week from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Weekends: Not required
• Floating Requirement: No

Job Description

This position includes participation in a reduced Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) program of 0 hours compared to a standard 40-hour NBO. The MRI Technologist will be responsible for operating Siemens magnetic resonance imaging equipment, specifically the Siemens Magnetom Vida 3T and GE SIGNA HDE 1.5T. The technologist will perform a variety of MRI procedures and must possess experience with the EPIC charting system, which is a hard stop requirement for this role.

Qualifications

• Valid ARRT MRI certification
• Experience with Siemens MRI systems is mandatory
• Minimum of one year of experience in MRI technology
• Knowledge of EPIC charting system is a hard stop requirement
• Preferred experience in a Level II Trauma facility
• Experience in acute care environments is preferred

Special Skills

• Proficient in performing a wide range of MRI examinations, including but not limited to:



• Abdominal MRI
• Brain MRI
• Cardiac MRI with Stress
• MR Angiography
• Magnetic resonance venography (MRV)
• Familiarity with infection control protocols and patient safety standards
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Unit and Facility Information

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital with a total of 209 staff beds, providing comprehensive healthcare services in a cooperative environment. Daily census averages around 160 patients, covering a diverse age group including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
