Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Radiation Oncologist , you will be a pivotal clinician delivering the highest quality patient care and radiation therapy expertise within our Colorado healthcare system. This role involves comprehensive radiation oncology services, both in a dedicated treatment center and ambulatory clinic settings , while contributing to clinical quality improvement initiatives and community benefit programs, ensuring access to top-tier cancer care for our patients. Every day you will provide expert ambulatory care, plan and deliver essential radiation treatments (including external beam, brachytherapy, and other advanced modalities) , and meticulously manage medical records to current policy standards. You will actively comply with all managed care programs, Medicare, Medicaid, and federal/state reimbursement plans, including our ethical and religious directives. Furthermore, you will lead and participate in various activities focused on promoting clinical excellence and quality improvement within radiation oncology services , engage in medical staff committees, and, when assigned, provide crucial on-call coverage to support our community's urgent needs. To be successful in this role, you will be a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Radiation Oncologist with an active Colorado medical license (or eligibility to obtain one), demonstrating a commitment to continuously developing personal and professional competence through ongoing medical education and maintaining applicable board certification. Daily responsibilities include providing expert ambulatory care, planning and delivering essential radiation treatments (external beam, brachytherapy, etc.), and meticulously managing medical records to policy standards. Job Requirements Required Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty.
