Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a certified and compassionate Mammography Technologist for a contract position in Pecos, Texas . This role is ideal for travel techs or Texas locals who want to make a meaningful impact in women’s health while working in a friendly, rural community.
Position OverviewAs a Mammography Tech, you'll perform high-quality breast imaging exams, support early detection efforts, and ensure a positive experience for every patient. You'll work closely with radiologists, clinicians, and support staff to deliver accurate diagnostics and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms using digital equipment
Position patients and operate equipment following ACR guidelines
Maintain patient comfort, privacy, and dignity during exams
Ensure image quality and troubleshoot equipment as needed
Assist with quality assurance and maintain accurate records
Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team
ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography (M)
Active Texas MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist) license
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of recent mammography experience preferred
Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal communication skills
